In a large saucepan heat 1 tablespoon of butter on medium heat. Add the Pork chops and cook 4-5 minutes on both sides or until it reads 145º F.
Meanwhile in a small container mix the sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Remove the pork chops from the saucepan. Add the apples, walnuts, sugar mixture and the rest of the butter, cook the apples low heat until tender.
Serve with the pork chops and white rice as a side dish.
